We are all students first. By guiding students through their practice, we create space for authenticity, presence, and peace. There is no greater joy than sharing in a student's journey and creating a sacred, safe space (a hOMe) for our community in which to grow. Our instructors are eager to share their love of this practice with students of all levels, ages, and abilities. Learn more about our team below.

The moment I planted my hands, the minute I grounded my feet, as soon as I steadied my breath along with my racing mind, peace washed over me. The music, heat, and energy kissed my heart in a thousand ways and I knew right there on my mat, I was OM...mind, body, and soul.

About Us

Kristen Yuhas (Owner/Founder)

I have been practicing yoga since 2003.  Yoga had begun as a way to relieve stress but quickly shifted from a physical practice to affecting not only my body but my life as a whole. What I discovered was that yoga was more than an exercise class—it was a lifestyle and had affected everyone and everything in my life in an amazing and positive way. By spending time on my mat, I discovered the person I wanted to be off my mat and in my life. In 2010, I completed my first teacher training and continue to study with master teachers who have impacted my journey with immersions and modules that expanded my practice and teaching to include disciplines such as yin and restorative. I have built upon my yoga experiences to mold a personal practice of presence and connection and strive for this reflection in each class I teach. Sharing yoga heart to heart and being given the opportunity to guide practices at Peace of Mind Yoga Studio has been a blessing beyond measure. I continue to and am committed to sharing this beautiful practice of mind, body, and spirit with my students and community.

I am so very grateful for the students that have filled this space with love and light and for each and every soul I have met along the way.

E-RYT 200hr Power Vinyasa, Child Light, Yin, YBBootcamp,   Life Coach, Certified Teachers Assistant, Reiki.

A singular goal of her class is to experience yoga at its most holistic level by taking the experience from the yoga into their daily lives.

JENNY PECORA

Jenny started practicing yoga over 10 years ago when returning to work after being a stay at home mom. When she finally established enough confidence with her practice, she stepped in to her first studio class at Peace of Mind and Jenny knew she was hOMe. Shortly after, a 200 hour teacher training was offered and she knew she was right where she was supposed to be.  Jenny completed her training under Lynn Patton and Kristen Yuhas in 2015 and has been teaching ever since. Her appreciation for yoga is rooted in her soul. The awareness, understanding, compassion and love, on and off the mat, is what keeps her connected to practicing and teaching. Jenny teaches all levels Vinyasa and likes to keep it fun and lighthearted.

JoAnn Barron

JoAnn began practicing Yoga in 2009.  In 2017, she started her teacher training with YogaFit based out of Las Vegas, NV.   In 2020 she  completed her 200 RYT training at Peace of Mind  Yoga Studio under the direction of 4 highly trained  teachers.   JoAnn turned to Yoga to heal her heart after losing  someone very dear to her.  She stepped onto the Mat and  since then, has never stopped practicing.  In the 12 years, Yoga has grown  into a passion for her.  The Journey has been one of  acceptance, balance, connection and love.  You can find her  in many Vinyasa Flow classes. Her focus in her practice and  her teaching is deeply rooted in spirituality and movement with breath.  Yoga has the ability to quiet your mind and open your heart.   She believes that Yoga is beautiful work done on the mat and an amazing  tool off the Mat and into life.

“My heart is filled with gratitude, for my practice, the opportunity to share  my Yoga, and for all the amazing souls that came into my life.”

Pam began her yoga journey in 2014. By 2024, she completed her 200-hour RYT training at Peace of Mind Yoga, guided by Kristen, Lynn, and two other highly qualified guest instructors. Additionally, she holds a Reiki certification.
Initially, Pam approached yoga as a way to enhance her fitness routine. Over time, she experienced significant improvements in her strength, balance, and flexibility. More importantly, she discovered yoga's profound healing benefits, which led to a notable reduction in her stress, anxiety and an overall enhancement in her quality of life. Yoga has instilled a sense of peace, presence, and mental clarity in her daily life, empowering her to improve personal relationships by approaching them with greater acceptance and harmony.
Pam also holds an MEd in Education Administration from Delaware Valley University, an MEd in Secondary Education, and a BS in Biology from Penn State University.
